Dog on the Blog: Update on Missy...

We had so many comments on the story of Missy learning to use her back leg after all these years, I thought I'd share a picture of Missy in her cart! As you can see, it is a cumbersome affair, but when Missy is strapped into her cart and ready to play, she can fly across the yard and outrun most of the other dogs! But you can see that there is no way for her to lay down to rest, when she is finished playing.

Since she has been using her back leg, we have not put her in her cart. We want to encourage her to continue to use and develop the muscles in her back leg.

She continues to get around fully upright, walking on three legs. She is an inspiration.
